I’m a California-born photographer, cinematographer, and Forbes-featured entrepreneur — founder and CEO of Photomochi, a Bay Area production studio I built to bridge premium human artistry with software-speed execution. My portfolio reaches across global brands like Google, Microsoft, Airbnb, YouTube, Porsche, Hyundai, and Swarovski; documentary coverage of tech pioneers including Vitalik Buterin and Balaji Srinivasan at ETH San Francisco; and editorial assignments for the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Insider, and Entrepreneur.
An elite artist whose visionary leadership has revolutionized the industry.

I’m a modern renaissance man — equal parts creative director, marketing strategist, business operator, and engineer. Beyond the lens, I architect end-to-end brand campaigns: defining positioning, designing visual systems, scripting and producing the films, then steering the paid-and-organic distribution that takes a launch from quiet release to industry conversation. Clients hire me because I think like a CMO and execute like a studio.
As a leader, I built and direct a vertically integrated production company — recruiting and training the photographers, cinematographers, editors, and producers who carry the Photomochi standard into the field. I set the creative bar, run the quality-control framework, and make the calls that keep multi-crew shoots on-spec and on-budget across cities and time zones.
As an entrepreneur and business consultant, I advise founders and operators on building their companies and running their go-to-market: positioning, brand identity, ad creative, conversion-rate strategy, and the visual production that makes any of it land. From early-stage startups raising seed rounds to enterprise teams launching new product lines, I help operators turn a brief into a campaign that moves customers, investors, and press.
A Certified Professional Photographer through the PPA and a UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Science graduate (Option IV), my background spans software engineering at Adobe, web application development for UC Berkeley School of Law, mathematics at Stanford, and study abroad at the University of Osaka and National Taiwan University. The polymath background shows up across the whole practice — rigorous color science and master-grade post-production on the visual side, plus the operator instincts to scale a studio: I founded streetwear label Troo Wear, led the Photomochi mobile app from product strategy through launch, and built the internal creative auditing framework that keeps the studio in the top 1% of the industry.
Photomochi Studio extends my standards into multi-crew, multi-city productions. Under my lead, the studio earned consecutive “Best Photographer” honors and a 95%+ Exceptional Quality Award, ranking in the top 1% of commercial photography businesses. Featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Business Insider, and Yahoo!, Photomochi has scaled into a vertically integrated production network. Every project remains hand-finished by a master human eye — delivering luxury-grade portfolios to major business capitals on timelines that legacy agencies cannot match.
I’m also a published Amazon best-selling author of The Japan Book (Forbes-featured), creative director of streetwear label Troo Wear (since 2007), a licensed FAA commercial drone pilot, and bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
